    What is Airtable?

Airtable is a next-generation app-building platform that allows users to create custom business applications without code. It offers AI capabilities through Airtable Assistant, enabling data analysis, web research, and document analysis. The platform integrates with various tools like Slack, Google Drive, and Salesforce, providing a unified workspace for teams to manage data, automate workflows, and collaborate effectively.

    How to use Airtable?

Users can build custom apps by creating bases (databases) and tables, designing interfaces, setting up automations, and integrating with other tools. Airtable Assistant can be used to analyze data, perform web research, and extract information from documents.

How do I start using Airtable AI?

If you’re on a paid self-serve plan, you have access to a limited number of AI credits each month to test out Airtable AI. If you need more credits, you can purchase the AI add-on, which allows you to use AI at scale. Enterprise customers should talk with their account team to get access to Airtable AI. For all customers, a workspace admin or Enterprise Admin needs to enable AI for the organization. While users will see that AI functionality exists, they won’t be able to access it without an administrator’s approval. Enterprise Admins also have more granular control over the workspaces in which AI is enabled.

What type of work is AI best for?

Airtable AI can be added to any workflow and is flexible enough to advance critical steps across workflows in every team or department. Product teams can use AI to categorize customer feedback and generate product specs to speed up feature development. Marketing teams can use AI to generate creative briefs, gather competitive intel, or draft blog posts. HR and finance teams can use AI to generate job descriptions, categorize budget spend, draft company memos, and more.

    Does my information become public?

Airtable protects the privacy and security of our customers' data. No customer data is retained by our model providers or used to train current or future large language models (LLMs).

How do I track my actions and data credits usage?

You can track both actions and data credits usage in the Usage Dashboard, which you can access from the Settings menu in the app. You can also track usage at the table level via Table history.

    Do credits roll over?

Monthly plans: When your plan refreshes, unused data credits will roll over and accumulate. The maximum accumulation is capped at 2× your plan's monthly credit limit. Annual plans: When your plan refreshes, you can roll over up to 15% of your annual data credits in addition to the new credits you receive, provided you renew on the same or a higher-tier plan.

What if I need more actions or data credits?

You can upgrade your plan tier at any time by visiting your plan settings page. You can also purchase one-off data credits at a 30% premium during your billing cycle.

How many actions and data credits do I need?

Launch plan: Suitable for enriching less than 1,000 records per month. Growth plan: Suitable for enriching 1,000 to 10,000 records per month. Enterprise plan: Suitable for enriching 10,000+ records per month. Each fully enriched record typically costs 6-20 data credits.

Does the table alerts feature cost credits?

No, table alerts is a monitoring feature and does not consume actions or data credits.
