How do I start using Airtable AI?

If you’re on a paid self-serve plan, you have access to a limited number of AI credits each month to test out Airtable AI. If you need more credits, you can purchase the AI add-on, which allows you to use AI at scale. Enterprise customers should talk with their account team to get access to Airtable AI. For all customers, a workspace admin or Enterprise Admin needs to enable AI for the organization. While users will see that AI functionality exists, they won’t be able to access it without an administrator’s approval. Enterprise Admins also have more granular control over the workspaces in which AI is enabled.

How are additional members billed?

Each paid member consumes one seat at your plan's per-user price. When you add a member mid-cycle, the charge is prorated for the remainder of your billing period. Removing a member frees the seat for someone else.

How do AI credits work?

AI credits power Cloudairy's Super Assist features — generating diagrams, mind maps, flowcharts, architecture designs, and images. Free plan includes 25 credits/month, Starter gets 150/month, Business gets 500/month, and Enterprise gets 1,000/month. Credits reset monthly and unused credits don't roll over. Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Absolutely. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No content is deleted when you change plans — restricted features simply become read-only until you meet the new plan's limits.
