Overview
About this event
Cannes Lions takes place across the Palais des Festivals and venues along the Croisette in Cannes each June, combining the industry's most prestigious awards with a five-day festival of keynotes, masterclasses, workshops, debates and networking.
The 2026 edition is the 73rd Festival and marks several firsts: the launch of LIONS Sport as a standalone programme, the introduction of the Creative Brand Lion as a new award category, and the debut of Cannes Lions Deconstructed as a live wrap-up stream on the final day. The programme includes more than 150 hours of content and approximately 500 speakers across five days.
The event combines two unmissable dimensions under one week: the creative industry's most credible awards show, where the work that sets the global benchmark is recognised each evening, and a six-stream content programme where the people behind that work share what they actually did and why it worked.
What Usually Happens at Cannes Lions?
The Festival opens each morning with sessions on the main Lumiere and Debussy Theatre stages, followed by track-specific programming across the Rotonde, Campus, Creators and Forum stages throughout the day. Each evening the Lions Awards shows recognise the best creative work in the world across different categories. Outside the Palais, brand activations, beach events and satellite sessions run across the Croisette throughout the week.
