If you’re on a paid self-serve plan, you have access to a limited number of AI credits each month to test out Airtable AI. If you need more credits, you can purchase the AI add-on, which allows you to use AI at scale. Enterprise customers should talk with their account team to get access to Airtable AI. For all customers, a workspace admin or Enterprise Admin needs to enable AI for the organization. While users will see that AI functionality exists, they won’t be able to access it without an administrator’s approval. Enterprise Admins also have more granular control over the workspaces in which AI is enabled.

Stability AI offers several image models on its Developer Platform: Stable Image Ultra (flagship, based on Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large, 8 credits per result), Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large (8B parameter base model, 6.5 credits), Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large Turbo (4 credits), Stable Diffusion 3.5 Medium (3.5 credits), Stable Diffusion 3.5 Flash (distilled, 2.5 credits), Stable Image Core (3 credits), and the legacy SDXL 1.0 (from 0.9 credits).

Stability AI covers multiple modalities: video (Stable Video model), audio (Stable Audio 2.5 generates up to three minutes of high-quality audio from text prompts or audio samples, with Text-to-Audio, Audio-to-Audio, and Audio Inpaint endpoints), and 3D (Stable Fast 3D generates 3D assets from a single 2D image, and Stable Point Aware 3D / SPAR3D supports real-time edits and complete 3D structure from one image).

How does the Stability Platform API work?

The Stability Platform exposes a production-ready REST v2beta API service (the primary API as of March 2024) for media generation and editing with no infrastructure to manage. Authentication uses a Stability API key included in the Authorization header. Asynchronous services return results via a 'Fetch async generation result' endpoint. Official SDKs include a Python gRPC SDK and a TypeScript gRPC Client, plus a Google Colab Playground notebook.

How is Stability AI priced?

Pricing is per-usage based on API credits, where 1 credit = $0.01. New users get 25 free credits to start, with pay-as-you-go credit purchases thereafter. The Developer Platform has a rate limit of 150 requests every 10 seconds. Self-Hosted License and Enterprise tiers are also offered with custom pricing (contact sales). All amounts are in USD.
