What is Airtable?

Airtable is a next-generation app-building platform that allows users to create custom business applications without code. It offers AI capabilities through Airtable Assistant, enabling data analysis, web research, and document analysis. The platform integrates with various tools like Slack, Google Drive, and Salesforce, providing a unified workspace for teams to manage data, automate workflows, and collaborate effectively.

How to use Airtable?

Users can build custom apps by creating bases (databases) and tables, designing interfaces, setting up automations, and integrating with other tools. Airtable Assistant can be used to analyze data, perform web research, and extract information from documents.

How do I start using Airtable AI?

If you’re on a paid self-serve plan, you have access to a limited number of AI credits each month to test out Airtable AI. If you need more credits, you can purchase the AI add-on, which allows you to use AI at scale. Enterprise customers should talk with their account team to get access to Airtable AI. For all customers, a workspace admin or Enterprise Admin needs to enable AI for the organization. While users will see that AI functionality exists, they won’t be able to access it without an administrator’s approval. Enterprise Admins also have more granular control over the workspaces in which AI is enabled.

What type of work is AI best for?

Airtable AI can be added to any workflow and is flexible enough to advance critical steps across workflows in every team or department. Product teams can use AI to categorize customer feedback and generate product specs to speed up feature development. Marketing teams can use AI to generate creative briefs, gather competitive intel, or draft blog posts. HR and finance teams can use AI to generate job descriptions, categorize budget spend, draft company memos, and more.

Does my information become public?

Airtable protects the privacy and security of our customers' data. No customer data is retained by our model providers or used to train current or future large language models (LLMs).

Does Chattr have native mobile applications?

Not at this time. Chattr is mobile optimized and currently receives 86% of applicant completions via mobile. We can share screenshots of the user-friendly UI.

What calendars are we compatible with?

Chattr is calendar agnostic. We simply send an .ics file along with the invitation. This .ics file can be added to any calendar platform.

How can salaried positions be handled in Chattr?

The initial impression for the applicant (regardless of position) is critical. Speed and simplicity rule positive outcomes and the Chattr applicant experience can accomplish this for all roles. Example: LinkedIn allows recruiters to include 'knock-out' questions for all roles (even executive). We can set up a similar applicant experience with Chattr but provide an immediate response to the applicant.

Does Chattr handle eVerify?

Chattr and our background partner Vetty both do not handle this service directly. Our clients can leverage the government site. An API integration with eVerify is on our radar.

Are we ADA compliant?

Our terms of service stipulate that Chattr is not responsible for providing alternative application methods like TTY.
